JOIN USMore than 1200 fitness enthusiasts came together 'to celebrate togetherness and fitness.'
The event -Fit Families Fest- was organised by Herbalife Nutrition, a global nutrition company. It was an effort to bring people together and raise awareness about the role of healthy and active lifestyle along with good nutrition for long term health and well being.
Boxing champion, Mary Kom and Badminton champion, Saina Nehwal flagged off the Fit Families Fest. "I am so glad that my entire family and I were part of this celebration. I will surely look out for the Fit Families Fest every year," said Mary Kom.
Various activities were a part of the fest, such as a 3km and 5km marathon, 10km cycling, Aerobics, zumba, yoga, Parkour for kids. The event ended with a rock show by singer and lyricist, Raghu Dixit.
Ajay Khanna, Vice President, Herbalife International India, said, "Through the Fit Families Fest, we endeavoured to bring together an entire family, inspire and motivate each other, by participating in sports activities that are fun-filled and rejuvenating."
