Meals to be served at Kidwai institute

A programme to distribute meals for cancer patients was launched at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology on Tuesday.

Sathya Sai Seva organisation will distribute lunch for outpatients and inpatients from Monday.

Inaugurating the event, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ramesh Kumar said: "The programme will next be launched at the Victoria Hospital."

Nagesh Dhakappa, state unit president of Sathya Sai Seva organisation said that over 1,000 people will be given lunch every day. Different menu will be provided from their branch in Thyagarajanagar.
