Applications invited for Konkani fellowship

Mangalore University Konkani Adhyayana Peetha has invited applications from eligible candidates for two research fellowships, stated a press release.

The title of the research project is 'The Konkani people of Karnataka: A study of their origin, migration and settlement pattern'. The research is a joint venture of Konkani Adhyayana Peetha and Vishwa Konkani Kendra, Mangalore.

One fellowship is exclusively reserved for candidates possessing post graduate degree in life sciences, zoology, biotechnology, genetics or any related field with hands-on experience in molecular biology. Candidates with NET/CSIR would be preferred.

Another fellowship is meant for candidates holding a post graduate degree in humanities or literature. Candidates having research experience would be given preference. The appointment will be purely on a temporary basis and would terminate with the end of the project.
