Shettar demands probe into marks card 'scam'

Calls Cong govt in State as 'corrupt govt'

Terming the Congress government in the State as 'corrupt government', Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Jagadish Shettar demanded a comprehensive probe into the marks card 'scam' in which allegations are being leveled against Higher Education Minister Basavaraj Rayareddi.

"Mr Rayareddy speaks like a very honest person. Now, the Congress Party's students wing itself has complained against him, and he has lost the morality to continue in the post," he said.

Ministers and chief ministers are facing allegations one by one. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is behaving arrogantly and adamantly. His behaviour is not suitable for the reputation of the chief minister's post, and Mysuru MP Prathap Simha is giving reply to his statements in the same language, Mr Shettar added.
