Prisoner makes threat call to bizman from jail

A life threat call to a Mandya-based businessman has been traced and found to be made by a jail inmate, serving in Mysuru Central Prisons.

Basavaraju, is the prisoner who had allegedly threatened the businessman from the jail using mobile phone and demanded Rs 20 lakh, recently. The police, who were investigating the case, found that the call was from the jail, based on the call tracker.

The police also seized 135 grams of ganja, four mobile SIM cards from the accused.
