Karnataka's poll manifesto after the Centre's says Moily

MP and Senior Congress leader M Veerappa Moily who heads the Congress election manifesto committee said that the committee will meet on January 11 and the manifesto titled 'Nava Karnataka Vision' would be released in all 30 districts of the state later.    

Moily said that the state's manifesto will be released after the Centre's election manifesto is approved.  

Speaking to reporters at the KPCC office here on Monday, the committee would tour six regions of the state and hold meetings there once the committee is fully constituted.  

Moily said that the committee would meet various representatives like industrialists, business people and others. He said that meetings in Bengaluru city, rural, Kolar, Chikkballapur and Ramanagaram districts would be held next week.  

The former chief minister said that under the leadership of B L Shankar, the earlier manifesto would be discussed. "Our manifesto will be pro-people. We have thought of five programs to bring about fundamental changes the economic and social conditions of the people of the state," he added.
