JOIN USAnti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths, who are investigating the Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) land acquisition scam in which names of MLAGTDevegowda's son GDHarishgowda and brother GTYaduvar has figured, recorded statements of the farmers and the witnesses on Saturday.
According to sources, the ACB officials issued notices to the farmers, who have lost the lands to be present before the ACB for investigation. Officials are also recording the statements of the witnesses identified by the Lokayukta police.
While Assistant Executive Engineer MBSomashekar, Assistant Engineer MMahesh and three middlemen are in judicial custody, Harishgowda and Yaduvar are absconding. The court has adjourned the hearing of the bail application of the persons in custody to December 26.
