There's nothing called soft Hindutva: Siddaramaiah

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Wednesday that there was nothing called soft Hindutva or hardline Hindutva. Siddaramaiah also reiterated that he was a Hindu, but a secularist.

Addressing reporters in the city, he said the Congress was not scared of the RSS. Siddaramaiah cautioned party workers to be wary of the RSS, which was stoking communal tension in the state.

He said the ongoing protest over the Mahadayi issue was not aimed at the Congress, but against BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, who did not keep his promise of getting Goa to release the Mahadayi water to Karnataka.
