Have honoured most commitments: Pejawar seer

Outgoing Pejawar Mutt seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swami has said that he has performed most of his commitments but believes that he could have still performed better.

The other works include the construction of a guest house, construction of Yatri Nivas and Ananda Theertha School in Pajaka. Almost all works have been completed, he said. However, there are few more ideas and the amount donated by devotees will be spent on the development of Sri Krishna Mutt and other social causes, he said.

The seer said that after completing the Paryaya term, he would be concentrating on the completion of the hospital in  Marathahalli in Bengaluru, a girls hostel in Shivamogga and the development of the educational institution at Hubballi. He said he would take up many social causes with the cooperation of devotees.

He said Sudhamangala, a spiritual programme for young disciples, will be organised from January 1 to 10. The Mahotsava is held with spiritual discourses and disciples appearing for exams as part of the final phase of the course. He added that religious scholar Bannanje Govindacharya would be delivering the lecture on the occasion. The occasion would also mark the valedictory ceremony of the two-year Paryaya of the seer.
