Visitor timings to Vidhana Soudha extended

To facilitate better and convenient access for visitors into Vidhana Soudha and Vikasa Soudha, the government has decided to extend the visiting hours for the public.

People can now visit the offices in the buildings between 2.45 pm and 5.30 pm. Hitherto, the visiting hours were from 3.30 pm to 5 pm.

The government is also considering issuance of passes at all four gates for the convenience of visitors. At present, passes are being issued at gate numbers 1 and 3. Due to the vast expanse of the Soudha premises, the differently abled and elderly visitors are finding it difficult to get passes and walk long distances to the offices.
