Soon, the RTOs in the state provide many services online as all the 61 transport offices in the state will adopt Vahan 4 software, which allows people to apply for several services online.
Transport Secretary B Basavaraju gave a green signal for the transition at Ramangar RTO office on Tuesday.
"The new software allows people to get services at their homes. On an average, Ramanagar RTO registers 120 vehicles everyday. The number for the entire state is 4,000," he said.
