Six injured in leopard attack in Mumbai

At least four persons were injured today in an attack by a leopard which entered a residential area in Nanipada in suburban Mulund of Mumbai.

"So far four persons have been injured. I am at the spot," Mumbai North-East MP Dr Kirit Somaiya said.

According to the eyewitnesses there were more than one leopard spotted in the area. Top officials of the Thane forest range and Sanjay Gandhi National Park have reached the spot and efforts to catch the leopards are underway. The injured are being treated at local hospital.
