Silver Jubilee of Sharada Vidyalaya on Jan 20

The silver jubilee of Sharada Vidyalaya, Mangaluru will be celebrated on January 20 at the school premises in Kodialbail.

Addressing reporters here on Tuesday, Sharada Educational Institutions president Prof M B Puranik said that the formal programme will be held at 5 pm. Pejavara Adhokshaja Mutt, Udupi pontiff Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swami will grace the occasion, Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala will light the lamp, Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggde will preside.

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu will release the silver jubilee souvenir. M P Nalin Kumar Kateel and Nitte University Chancellor Dr N Vinay Hegde will be the guests of honour, Puranik said.

The alumni meet and cultural programme will be held on January 21 at 4 pm. Sharada Educational Institutions Academic Advisor Dr Leela Upadhyaya will be the chief guest.

Sharada Educational Institutions vice president K S Kalluraya, Trustee Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Sharada Vidyalaya Vice Principal Dayanand Kateel were present at the press meet.
