Students should become country's assets, says minister U T Khader

Every student should become the flag-bearer of peace and harmony to be the asset of the country, Food and Civil Supplies Minister U T Khader said.

He was speaking at the valedictory programme of 'Pratibhotsava', a talent festival organised by Sunni Student Federation (SSF) at Kottamudi Markazal Hidaya Education Institution near Napoklu on Sunday.

Everyone should develop rational thinking along with obtaining the formal education, Khader said.

He lauded SSF for supporting young talents.

Dakshina Kannada Wakf Board President Kalatturu Monu Haji called upon the members of the community to be part of the mainstream of society.

Mangaluru Wakf Board member Shafi Sa-adi was present.

SSF State President Ismail Sakhafi Kondangeri presided over the programme.

Youths from various districts took part in elocution, singing, Qawali, quiz, religious talk and other events in various age categories, in the two-day festival.
