Also tell Davos of income disparity in India: Rahul to Modi

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hard-selling India at Davos, Congress President Rahul Gandhi fired a fresh salvo, asking him to tell world leaders why 1% of Indians owned 73% of the country's wealth.

"Dear PM, Welcome to Switzerland! Please tell DAVOS why 1% of India's population gets 73% of its wealth," Rahul Gandhi said on Twitter.

"I'm attaching a report for your ready reference," the Congress president said referring to a survey by international rights group Oxfam. The Oxfam report, which was released hours before the annual Davos World Economic Forum meet, also mentioned that 67 crore Indians saw their wealth rise by just 1% in 2017.
