The Karnataka High Court and the Advocates' Association of Bengaluru bid farewell to Justice Rathnakala on the occasion of her retirement on Thursday.
Justice Rathnakala began her legal journey as an advocate on October 3, 1982, and practised in civil and criminal matters.
She has also served as the presiding officer of the family court, Bengaluru, Industrial Tribunal, Mysore Labour Court, Bengaluru, and Karnataka State Transport Appellate Tribunal.
She was elevated as the additional judge of the Karnataka High Court on October 24, 2013, and became a permanent judge on March 4, 2016.
