Congress president Rahul Gandhi will visit Karnataka four times in the run up to the polls. Rahul wants to reach out to youngsters, women and farmers during his tours, KPCC president G Parameshwara said.

Rahul's first leg of the tour will start on February 10. "On February 10, he will address a rally in Ballari and halt there. The next day, he will visit Koppal, Yadgir, Raichur and Kalaburagi in a bus and hold public meetings. "Rahul's visit will be region-wise -- Hyderabad-Karnataka, Bombay-Karnataka and so on. He will also visit the coastal regions."

Parameshwara said Rahul will visit places of worship during the tours. "Some will be planned and some unplanned. He may just walk into a temple without any prior clearance. This is not soft Hindutva as dubbed, but inclusive Hindutva," he said.

The Congress is drawing up a list of star campaigners that will include celebrities. "The Congress will have star campaigners in every Assembly election. Our main star will be Rahul," AICC general secretary in-charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal said.
