JOIN USTennis star Sania Mirza says her contemporary Serena Williams is a shining example for women who want to enter sports and "have it all".
Sania, 31, praised Serena for always being a go-getter in both life and career, without compromising on her hopes and dreams.
The American player, who has won 23 Grand Slams, recently gave birth to her daughter, Olympia Ohanian.
"I think everyone should embrace motherhood. What Serena Williams has achieved is incredible not just as a tennis player but I think she's trying to set an example that women can have it all. I think she does have it all.
"She's a great example for women who want to take up sports and their parents think that they won't get married," Sania told PTI on the sidelines of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018.
