Congress president Rahul Gandhi will have his first interaction with party workers at the AICC headquarters on Wednesday morning, in a bid to boost public outreach efforts.
This would be the first public interaction by Rahul at the party headquarters after becoming Congress president last year.
Rahul would be at the party office for two hour between 9.30 am and 11.30 am and meet party workers through prior appointment.
His office had received numerous requests for meetings and those meeting him on Wednesday have been informed beforehand about their appointment.
The meetings by Rahul signals a return to the tradition of public interaction by the Congress president at the party office.
Previous Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, used to meet party workers at her official 10, Janpath residence that is adjacent to the party headquarters.
Rahul is expected to meet AICC office bearers and party workers thrice a week whenever he would be in Delhi to discuss various issues.
