A devotee from Mysuru died of cardiac arrest while climbing Vindhyagiri to have darshan of Bahubali on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Anantharaju (46), of Vijayanagar Railway colony.
An employee of Railways, Anantharaju, had come alone to Shravanabelagola to take part in the Mahamastakabhisheka on the last day. Anantharaju, who was standing in the queue collapsed. He was immediately shifted to the medical camp where he was declared dead. Dr B R Yuvaraj said that the post mortem would be conducted after his family members reach the spot.
