Zoho CRM introduces Zia Voice

Zoho Corporation, a cloud-based software company, on Wednesday launched Zia Voice, the speech and chat capabilities to its AI-powered sales assistant Zia.  

It is build  above Zoho CRM, on existing Zoho infrastructure, to serve their own businesses uniquely.  In addition, new features in Zoho CRM like Translations and Portals add to deepening their enterprise focus.

Beside interactive voice and chat-bot, the Zia will have lead and deal prediction and email sentiment analysis email.

Commenting on the launch, Zoho Corporation Chief Operating Officer  Mani Vembu said the company is  delivering the first conversational AI for CRM, with Zia Voice.

"Zia's enhanced AI capabilities will now help salespeople sell smarter, with contextual assistance and access customer information through a powerful voice and chat interface," said Vembu.

According to the company release, most features are available immediately on the Enterprise and Ultimate editions of Zoho CRM. Some features are being rolled out to customers in a phased manner.

Zoho CRM is available in the standard, professional and enterprise edition ranging from Rs 900 to Rs 2,700 per month by an user.

Sheryl Kingstone of 451 Research said customer relationship platform is transitioning into the next phase with the advancement of AI and voice recognition.

"We see these advancements in AI and voice recognition leading the way into the next transformation of business applications. Our recent research shows that 45% of the surveyed digital leaders are looking forward to use voice interface in the next 24 months," said Kingstone.

The Chennai-based company also introduced Catalyst, a set of capabilities that allow larger and complex businesses to build their own mobile and web apps.
