
A 'padayatra' undertaken by the members of the state unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in support of Karnataka, in the Mahadayi river water sharing dispute, reached Hubballi city on Sunday.
The IMA members who began their padayatra in Bengaluru, plan to end it in Naragund.
IMA Hubballi president G B Sattoora. senior doctor V B Nitali and other members welcomed the padayatris.
Raitha Sena state president Veeresha Sobaradamatha, Gururayana Gowda, Sameera Acharya and others were present.
The march is going to end at Nargund on March 7, where a convention will be held.
