Youth held for impersonation in II PU exam

A 21-year-old youth has been arrested for impersonation in the ongoing II PU examination.

Sharath appeared for the Accountancy Paper in place of a private candidate at an examination centre in BEL.

After distributing the question papers, when the invigilator approached Sharath for his signature, he observed that the signature and photograph on the admit card did not match.

The police were alerted and Sharath was arrested. He has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Clarification on grace marks

Director of Pre-University Education C Shikha has issued a clarification regarding grace marks for the Physics examination conducted on March 1.

Shikha said, "Grace marks will be decided only after the formulation of the scheme of evaluation by subject experts at the end of exams."
