A release issued by the State-run Corporation here, states the new Vajra fare structure includes merging all three existing fares (IT, Non-IT and Mixed Fare) to a common fare. Vayu Vajra flexi-fares to the Bengaluru International Airport (up and down) fares have also been rationalised to adopt uniform fare for up and down services to BIA.
The Suvarna a/c fares have also been marginally restructured to suitably fit into the over-all fare structure.
BMTC has also announced that Vajra Gold Day Pass will cost Rs 80 and allow travel on all bus services, except Vayu Vajra services.
