ACB raids nine officials

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids on offices and houses of nine officials in 36 places across the state after obtaining definite information about amassing wealth disproportionate to known sources of income. Raids were conducted on the house and offices of the following officials, according to a press release.

R Gangadhar, AEE, Solid Waste Management, BBMP; Rajashree Jainapura, Special Land Acquisition officer, Hipparagi dam project, Belagavi; Vinod Kumar, Deputy Superintendent, Excise Department, Udupi; P Vijaykumar, Assistant Engineer, Rural Drinking Water sub-division, Gangavati; N Appi Reddy, Assistant Engineer, Rural Drinking Water and Sewage, Srinivaspur, Kolar; Shivakumar S P, Assistant Director, Agriculture Department, Kadur, Chikkamagaluru; Dr Raghunath, Medical Officer, Banawadi in Magadi Taluk, Ramangara ; Rudraprasad S B, Superintendent, KGID, Bengaluru and K C Virupaksha, Second Division Clerk, RTO, Chikkamagaluru.
