BJP President Amit Shah's tour tentatively rescheduled

 

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah's visit to Belagavi and Bagalkot district has been tentatively rescheduled for April 12 and 13, but the backward classes convention organised on April 3, at 5 pm Kaginele in Haveri district will be conducted as per schedule.'

BJP Belagavi Division Incharge Iranna Kadadi told reporters here on Monday that Shah's visit has been postponed and tentatively scheduled with his presence needed in the Parliament on Monday. As the programme at Kaginele was in the evening hours, it will be held as per schedule and Shah will make it for it. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will also be present.

During the tentatively rescheduled programme of Shah, all events will be held as planned and there was no change in them. Shah will visit Kittur and Nandgad and pay respects to Rani Channamma and Sangolli Rayanna, address students convention in Belagavi, women's convention in Nippani, roadshow in Gokak, Jain community leaders meeting on Thursday. He will proceed towards Bagalkot on Friday, Kadadi said.
