Reveals a source close to the actress, “Shraddha simply adores animals — not just cats, dogs, rabbits, turtles but even tigers, snakes and other animals that tend to scare people. She loves to feed, pamper and nurture them. She also has very strong
opinions against animal violence and can’t stand the sight of animals being treated badly.”

She is also contemplating on working with a charitable organisation that will work towards the cause of animal welfare. Adds the source, “Shraddha really wants to work against cruelty to animals. She is an animal lover in the truest sense.”

The daughter of popular actor Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapuri (sister of actress Padmini Kolhapuri), Shraddha made her debut in Teen Patti starring Amitabh Bachchan, Madhavan, Sir Ben Kingsley and a host of other newcomers.

She will soon be seen opposite Prateik Babbar in My Friend Pinto. Apparently, Shraddha auditioned for the lead role in Pankaj Kapoor’s next venture Mausam starring Shahid Kapoor, but was not selected.

Donning their dancing shoes
The attractive Vidya Malvade, who is also a trained dancer, gave a great performance on the International Dance Day on April 29 at a hotel in Mumbai. The actress performed with the hot new heart-throb of Bollywood, Prateik Babbar, to a Latin American cha-cha-cha dance.
While practicing for this performance, Vidya and Prateik bonded over their passion for dance. “We would keep talking about the different forms of dancing. Like me, even Prateik is passionate about dancing. I was shocked to see the amount of knowledge Prateik has about dance. For a boy, that is superb. We would bump into each other at our dance classes, but we were in different batches so never got a chance to dance together. So I was bit apprehensive initially — now we are like two kids in a candy store trying out different steps and figuring out what looks best. We are having a ball of a time together. Prateik is very charming and really adorable as a dance partner,” said Vidya Malvade.

Over a cup of coffee
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan spent a fun evening with his Cheeni Kum co-star Tabu. “Tabu, the wonderful Tabu, dropped by in the evening. She had not met me for long and had just seen Paa on DVD. So we talked and talked and talked on everything under the proverbial film-related sun. Films and directors, scripts and performances, present times and past times, actors and actresses, media and media. Endlessly... a delight,” the actor posted on his blog.  In the 2007 movie Cheeni Kum, Tabu played a 30 plus woman who falls in love with a 67-year-old chef, played by Amitabh.

Dev wants Freida to play Bond Girl
She may have dismissed reports of playing the next Bond Girl but Indian actress Freida Pinto’s lover Dev Patel insists that he would love her to be a part of the super-spy series. “She is stunning. There have been rumours about her being a Bond girl in the next film. I would love her to get the role, she’d be amazing,” Patel was quoted as saying by Pinto had earlier admitted that she's too ‘young’ to be a part of Bond 23, which will be helmed by film-maker Sam Mendes. But would Patel ever like to step into the shoes of the British agent and play the 25-year-old beauty’s on-screen lover once again? “I'm not sure I could ever play 007 though. I’m too much of a wimp,” said Patel, who had starred alongside Pinto in Slumdog Millionaire.
