Tumakuru police clamp 'unofficial' curfew on BH Road for Rahul's arrival

Owing to AICC President Rahul Gandhi's visit to Tumakuru city, the roads are deserted and movement of vehicles is almost zero. The city appears as though an 'unofficial' curfew has been imposed by the police.

This has irked the denizens of Tumakuru city no end. They are cursing the police for banning entry to the busy BH Road and other roads that connect to it.

Heated arguments between citizens/motorists and the police have become common in the area for the last couple of hours.

As though banning traffic movement is not enough, the police have forced shops along the VIP's roadshow route to shut down.

BH Road that connects Siddaganga mutt and Town Hall wears a desolate look.
