Premakumari to contest as Independent from KR constituency

Premakumari Jadeda, who was in the news after she leveled an allegation against a BJP leader of cheating her, is likely to contest from Krishnaraja (KR) Assembly segment, independently. She launched a campaign on Wednesday.

Premakumari, along with a few people, offered prayers at a Ganapathi temple in Agrahara and took out a door to door campaign in the constituency.

She said, "I want to serve the people and I will work for the development of the constituency. I am contesting as an independent candidate."

She said that she has 10 years of experience as a government employee and also knows politics. It may be mentioned that Premakumari had joined the New Indian Congress Party (NICP) recently, but, quit after a short stint.
