Veteran actor Jayanthi was discharged from the hospital on Friday. She was admitted to Vikram Hospital 10 days ago as she suffered from severe asthma and acute respiratory failure. Jayanthi, her son Krishna Kumar and the doctors who treated her spoke to the media.
The actor appreciated the concern showed by the media for publishing authentic news about her. Dr K S Satish, senior pulmonologist, said that the actor had recovered from her illness and is fit to go home.
