Youth, a vital part of progress: JD(S) leader

C R Narasimhamurthy, the JD(S) candidate, said the entry of youth to the party was a welcome development.

"The youth are finding themselves inspired by the ideology of the JD(S) and the sincere, pro-people administration provided by party state leader H D Kumaraswamy. With a hope to see the constituency getting such administration, the youth in the taluk have been joining the JD(S) of their own accord. This has only strengthened the party," he said.

He was addressing the programme at the party office in town for the entry of the youth.

"Youth play an important role in deciding the future of any country. Young voters are only contributing to the development of the nation by voluntarily joining the JD(S), which is a local party," said Narasimhamurthy.

Job opportunities

R Ashok Kumar, the state general secretary of the JD(S), who spoke on the occasion, said, "The youth of every village in the taluk have witnessed the development work undertaken by Kumaraswamy during his 20 months' tenure, and have wished for more such work. They wish to bring the party back to power as a means to gain educational and financial development and thereby get employment opportunities for all eligible people."

C Manjunath Reddy, the taluk president of the party; S Lakshminarayana Setty, the town unit president; Subaan, the TMC member; local leaders Charan, Chatram Shridhar, Srinivas, Chetan, Prabhakar, Harish Reddy, Nagendra, Stella Shivu, Prasanna Kumar, Mohammad Baig, Manjunath and Gopal participated in the programme.
