Have a vocational degree along with the regular, students told

He was addressing a gathering of students after inaugurating 12th Spoken English Training Camp organised at the Institute of Vocational Training.

“English should be learnt in phases just like we learnt to walk when we were children. One should not shy away from learning English,” he added.

“Albert Einstein was not brilliant when he was young. However, through sheer perseverance he astonished the world with his inventions . Good environment must be created for children and it is the duty of very parent to provide this environment to their children,” Nagaraj added.

College Head M V Narayanaswamy, who spoke on the occasion, said in the current competitive world students should have a vocational degree along with academic degree.
During the training, vocational skills will be imparted to the participants, he added.
Trainer J N Ramakrishna said it was not sufficient to speak English but one should master it by conversing in the language everyday.
