JOIN USMembers of the district and youth wing of JD(S) staged a protest at Gandhi Vana here on Saturday condemning BJP’s Vikasa Sankalpa Yatra.
“The Government has failed in every field in this one year. Farmers have no electricity supply, minimum support prices are not being offered and minorities have no security,” they alleged.
The members also alleged that Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was indulging in caste politics and had not announced any people-friendly schemes in the region.
“Differences have already surfaced in the BJP camp and many cabinet members do not support Yeddyurappa. This clearly indicates that the BJP government will collapse soon,” they predicted.
Unit leader R Dayanand, Babu, Apsar, Krishna, Arunkumar and Rajesh spoke at the protest. Member of the Municipal Council Shafi, Khan, Munna Raghu, Ammerahalli Satish, Choudareddy, Manjunath, Abbani Shivanna, Nanjegowda, Suguturu Sridhar, Hiregowda and others were present.
