launch Team of Ganaa Bajaana.

Unlike Love Guru which was a serious love story, Ganaa Bajaana is steeped in light comedy. The same technical team that worked for Love Guru has been retained for this film as well and Prashanth’s brother Naveen has pitched in for the production. The team was present for the audio release in the City recently.

Tarun, Dilip Raj and Radhika who mesmerised the audience with Love Guru were present and seemed confident of delivering another hit. Actor Tarun said he had worked on his character in Krish for six months. The result was a six-pack. “I had to quit smoking because my character is that of an energetic musician and dancer. I thought smoking may reduce my stamina and deflate my looks.

In an effort to build a strong physique, I visited the gym twice a day. The tight shooting schedules made it difficult for me to meet my friends and for the first time I survived without a cellphone,” he says. Radhika Pandit praised director Prashanth for his dedication. “I play a simple girl who wants to lead her life on her own account. In this film, every character has its own attribute and will remain in the minds of people for a long time. We have picturised songs in a new style with different backdrops,” she says.

Director Prashanth said his film has an original subject that is inspired by the ordinary activities. “I always opt for a fresh subject for my films and remake is one thing that I don’t want to associate with. I got a couple of offers from big production houses to direct a remake but I refused.” The movie has six songs composed by Joshua Shridhar. Sharan, C R Simha, Laxmi Adavani plays prominent roles. Kaviraj has scored the lyrics.
