Adichunchanagiri Mutt school students score 100 per cent pass

Rural students fare better compared to urban students

In the district 20,275 students had written the exams and out of this 11,098 students have passed and 9,172 have failed.
Of the total students who wrote the exams 11,016 were boys and 9259 girls and out of 5622 boys and 5476 girls have passed.

In the district 25 schools have secured cent percent pass. But among this none are government schools. Of these 25 schools only one aided school has got 100 per cent result and the remaining 24 are private schools.
When compared to last year the district stands in the 28th position while last year it was in the 31st position.

However, in overall result it has dropped when compared to last year. Last year the pass percentage was 65 per cent, while this year it is 59.59 per cent.
The reason for this could be the change in examination pattern and the tricky questions ,said the officials in the education department.
Among the students who have a passed the exam 340 have passed with distinction and out of this 172 are boys and 168 girls. 3223 have passed in first class and out of this 1520 are boys and 1703 girls. 2543 have passed in the second class and out of this 1263 are boys and 1280 girls.

4992 students have passed in the third class and out of this 2667 are boys and 2325 are girls.

All efforts will be made to get a better result next year, said deputy director of public instruction Chandrashekariah.

100 per cent
The students from Adi chunchanagiri schools who appeared for SSLC examination have secured 100 per cent result said Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji of mutt branch.
The students from BGS English School at Agalagurki, BGS Public SChool, Shidlaghatta, BGS School at Melekote, Doddaballapur taluk have secured 100 per cent pass result.
At BGS Vidyaniketan, Manchanabale village students have scored 94.08 per cent.
At the Agalagurki school 38 students have distinction and 117 have scored high first class, he said.

At Shidlaghatta BGS Public School 7 have scored distinction and 17 first classes and 6 second classes are recorded. At BGS Manchanabale School 25 students have scored distinction and 20 have scored high first class.
BGS SChool at Melekote 3 have scored distinction and 21 have first class and 6 second class, he said and has congratualted the students.

Srinivaspur
As many as five private schools have secured 100 per cent pass in SSLC examination.
In Venu Vidya Samsthe 117 students appeared for the examination and 24 secured distinction, 86 scored first class and 7 got second class.
S Yudandhar scored 597 marks and stood first for taluk.
In the Kannada medium schools out of 22 students who wrote the examination 15 secured first and 7 scored second class.
As many as 34 students of G G Venu Rural Development English Medium High School had appeared for the SSLC exams. Of which 16 have secured distinction and 18 students have passed with first class. 

S Yasin Hussain (595), R Deepa (593) and K Vinay (592). Of 178 students who wrote exam from Bhairaveshwara Vidyaniketana 27 have got distinction and 113 have got first class. Of 38 students who appeared for the exam from SFS High School, 15 have been passed with distinction and 16 with first class.

Gauribidanur
In the taluk two unaided schools, Sharada High school, Gundlukuttur and Jainabia Highschool, Allipur  have secured 100 per cent pass. The Government School at H Nagasandra  also has secured 95.45 pass percentage
