Music, pets to relax between studies

They shared their feelings with Deccan Herald:

Madan of MES Kishore Kendra High School has secured 617 marks out of a total of 625 with a percentage of 98.56. Vivek M D of Sri Vidya Mandir follows next with a score of 616 marks. “I have always been a topper. I used to study daily and obtained additional coaching in Mathematics, Social Science and Sanskrit. I scored 100 in Mathematics. I would play cricket and listen to Linkin Park whenever I felt too stressed.”

Karthik S Bhat of Sri Kumarans Children’s Home, C Lakshmishree of Little Lillys and Lakshmi S of MES Kishore Kendra High School have secured 98.24 per cent. Karthik says, “I was happy when I heard the news. I did not attend any tuition classes. I would study for about three hours a day and spend time with my pets to relax.” Lakshmi says, “I attended tuition classes to ensure I got additional practice.”






Vaishnavi Rao of Sardar Patel Vidyavardaka School has scored 613 marks. “Hard and smart work enabled my success. Apart from studying, I am also into dancing and singing. I have cleared my junior exam in both” she says.

Kiran from Poorna Prajna Education Centre and Abhishek R S from MES Kishore Kendra High School have obtained 612 marks. Kiran says, “Tutions would not have given me any space to pursue my other interests. I would practice football daily and study for only two hours. I prepared a time table two weeks before the commencement of exam,” he reveals.

Abhishek adopted a different formula. He studied for three hours initially and increased the number of hours to six towards the ended. Prajna B K of Little Lilly's has scored 609, while her friends Anusha V and Revathi have scored 604 and 600 marks respectively.
