B'lore ZP goes to Congress

With this the six month-long rule of the administrator came to an end. Of total 21 seats, the Congress has 10 members, the BJP has nine members and the JD(S) has two seats. As the JD(S) extended its support to the Congress, the president and vice-president were elected unopposed.

Bhagya told presspersons that she would give priority to basic amenities -   proper road, drinking water supply and construction of school buildings in rural areas - during her tenure.
