Puppet festival
The Dhaatu Puppet Festival 2010 will be held till May 16 in the City. The festival will see puppet theatre from Mumbai, Chennai, Trichur, Kasargod and Dhaatu from Bangalore.
The programme will have Panchatantra stories, Yakshagana, robotic puppetry etc. In addition, there will be puppet magic, puppet gallery, workshops and demos.
The venues include Yavanika, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bal Bhavan, Suchitra Cine Academy, Freedom Park etc. For details, call 9886444563.
