Discontent in ministry: BSY goes in for damage control

"I have decided to devote certain timings to meet ministers, legislators and the public to hear their problems," Yeddyurappa, who got a respite from dissident activities following the intervention of the BJP high command, told reporters here.
Yeddyurappa has come in for flak from ministers G Janardhana Reddy, K S Eshwarappa, G Karunakara Reddy and B Sreeramulu on different issues with all of them boycotting the May 31 first anniversary celebrations of the BJP government.
The influential Reddy brothers from the mine-rich Bellary district were reportedly unhappy with Yeddyurappa for not taking them into confidence in decision making.
Senior BJP minister Eshwarappa had questioned fielding of Yeddyurappa's son B Y Raghavendra for the Shimoga Lok Sabha constituency, saying the party lost the right to raise the issue dynastic politics.
Seeking to paint a picture that "all is well" in his government, Yeddyurappa said "there is a cordial relations between me, ministers and legislators."
He also held discussions with heads of 17 task forces set up by him to guide the government on chalking out plans for the allround development of the state.
