JOIN USThe investigating agency had served notices on Mohan, Raghavendra, and two others of Sinchana Media, Jayanagar after it emerged that they had instigated Suresh, the technician of a private firm hired by the Public Works Department to film the self-styled godman’s questioning by CID, to steal the video clippings. The suspects later uploaded the footage on the video-sharing website YouTube.
After arresting Suresh, CID sleuths took him to Sinchana’s Media office and searched it. The investigators located the IP address from where the clippings were uploaded on YouTube, K H Chandrashekar, Superintendent of Police, CID said. Later, the notices were served to the four suspects who, however, absconded. Sources said the suspects have applied for an anticipatory bail which is expected to be heard soon.
