“Many organisations and companies had extended their support by constructing houses for the flood victims. Central government too extended its support by releasing crores of rupees. However, the State government did not implement any programme to help the poor. At the same time, government has misused crores of rupees meant for poor’s welfare,” she charged.
She said that the State government is going uncostitutional way in governance. Similarly, it is not ethical that a government and people’s representatives speaking against the Governor, Motamma said.
Talking about the recent hooch tragedy, Motamma said that the incident occurred as the government failed to tighten its grip over Excise Department.
