HC notice to Society for delay in site allotment

The High Court has ordered issue of notices to the Vishwabharathi House Building Co-operative Society and the State government over the delay in allotting sites to the Society members, even as sites were allotted to the relatives of former chief ministers.
The petitioners, M S Bhargavi and Shashikala, had moved the High Court against the Society, questioning the delay in allotment of sites to the members, who had been waiting for the last two decades. In their petition, they alleged that the Society had allotted sites free of cost to Anitha Kumaraswamy, while they were denied sites.
