SHRC issues notice to CM's political secretary

The commission, a release said, has also issued notice to Chief Secretary to the Government to send response of the Government with regard to the complaint.

In her complaint, the woman, Vijayalakshmi, had said that Puttaswamy had married her without disclosing his first marriage with Shantha and had lived with her in Bangalore and Mysore.

However, she had to leave for Tiptur to take care of her ailing parents who subsequently died. Vijayalakshmi said after the demise of her parents, Puttaswamy did not take care of her and had deserted her for the last 10 years. In her petition, she stated that she is 55 years and is living in penury and expressed her wish to live with Puttaswamy.
