Last Updated 26 May 2010, 06:40 IST

"We will operate three flights on domestic route using Air India aircraft and cabin crew to adjust the Indian Airlines passengers in view of the strike by a section of the employees," National Aviational Company of India Ltd (NACIL) source said.

NACIL is the holding company formed after the merger of Air India and erstwhile Indian Airlines in one single entity in 2007.

The flights, which would be operated by Air India are Delhi-Mumbai, Mumbai-Hyderabad-Chennai-Mumbai and Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Mumbai, the source said.

"The airline is adjusting Air India cabin crew timings to operate its flights," the source said.

As section of employees of Air India, including engineers, yesterday went on a flash strike to protest delay in payment of salaries and problems relating to the working conditions of cabin crew.
