Anil in Tirumala, rests in brother's guesthouse

Anil, who trekked his way up the 10-km distance from Tirupati, spent some time at the Sri Krishna Guesthouse of RIL before heading to the temple for performing rituals. Anil’s wife Tina too joined him after travelling to Tirumala by road.

Anil, whose group scrapped a non-compete agreement with Mukesh Ambani-led RIL last week, was accompanied by his top executives Satish Seth and J P Chalasani. The scrapping of the non-compete agreement was a demonstration of the Ambanis intention to buy peace, nearly five years after they parted ways. Four of these five years they had spent battling over a gas supply agreement.

On May 19, Anil had flown to Badrinath and just four days later truce came about.
