Nearly 800 members of the Human Right Federation staged the protest at the Mahatma Gandhi statue and raised slogans against Rajapaksa.
The Sri Lankan President has arrived in New Delhi on a three-day visit to the country.
They termed him as human killer and racist. Rajapaksa, they alleged, had brutally killed several lakhs of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan government has failed to address the resettlement issue and hence, the Indian government should stop financial and military support to Sri Lanka, they demanded.
