Minister plans calamity relief policy to check misuse of funds

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Mangalore City Corporation review meeting here on Wednesday, Suresh Kumar said during drought and flood situation all and sundry raise funds for the rehabilitation work.

There is a need to frame a policy to check the misuse of funds during the process of rehabilitation, the minister said.

Funds raised for the rehabilitation purpose should not be used for personal welfare, he added.

Measures will be taken to formulate parking policy at the state-level, he added.
