Addressing the protesters, JD(S) State Vice-President H H Devraj said that party workers must stage protest at all hobli centres against the failures of the State and Central government. “True colours of BJP is out. People are now aware of their intentions,” said JD(S) District Working President S L Bhojegowda.

District President H H Devraj invited a number of people who joined JD(S) quitting BJP and Congress, during the programme.

Leaders Chandrappa, Sandeep, Hoovappa, Hampaiah, Sathish Gowda among others were present.

MLA, Bajrang Dal flayed

JD(S) District President H H Devaraj has said that the Bajrang Dal activists who staged protest outside Dattapeeta should be ashamed of themselves.

Addressing hobli-level party workers meet on Wednesday, he said that instead of staging protest outside the peeta and outside DC office demanding repair of Datta caves, the activists should stage protest outside MLA’s residence.

“Those who have come to power playing the emotional card of Hindutwa and Dattapeeta have now conveniently forgotten it. The MLA must be penalised for this,” he said
He further pointed that there were 26 slaughter houses in Chikmagalur during Sageer Ahmed’s term, but now under C T Ravi, the slaughter houses have increased to 54.
“It is an open secret that the Sangh Parivar activists are collecting ‘hafta’ from these slaughter houses,” he alleged.
