Lokayukta slams govt organisations

Speaking at a function for the installation of office bearers organised by Rotary Club he said these government organisations, with which he had been working closely, do not fulfill promises but claim victory for half promises.

However, he said that he would not blame the authorities or politicians alone for such a sad state of affairs. “The entire society is at fault for such a state”, he said.

Rotary Club Bangalore North appointed its officer bearers for 2010-11. S P Diwakar took over as the new president, Shirish Nene as secretary and Shivaprakash S as treasurer. Rotary also said that it has on its agenda distribution of free notebooks to students from rural schools, releasing braille study material, cleft lip corrective surgery and heart operations.
