Six students suspended for foul language on Facebook

After learning about the incident, the District Education Officer has ordered an inquiry into the incident. However, it was not clear when the students were suspended.

On Saturday, the Jesus and Mary School authorities said: “We have submitted our report to the district education officer.” The school authorities, however, added that it was their internal matter and these girls are their students. It was alleged that the suspended girls were found using abusive language on the school’s Facebook page while commenting on selection of the school’s head girl.
